Despite China's fertilizer exports in 2009 hit the falling prices of agricultural products, decreasing demand of Fertilizer in International market, and many other negative factors caused by international financial crisis, but still achieved acceptable results. In 2009 China exported 8.848 million tons fertilizer, only down 5% compared with 2008, far below the overall drop level of national foreign trade export, which is 16%. Overall, China's fertilizer exports in 2010 have good prospects as export volume is expected to increase in a certain degree.
